The director explained the greater difficulty in filming one of the last scenes of the film.
The sequel to the future Knightmare has a lot more prominence and importance in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. For the director, footage from the film would show Darkseid invading Earth and destroying while realizing the anti-life equation. This is why The Flash is sent to the past, in an attempt to save Lois Lane. During Justice League, we had several scenes in the future where Darkseid invades Earth, some of those scenes having been recorded more recently.
Now the director, in an interview with ExtraTV, has spoken more about what it was like directing the new scenes and also revealed the hardest part of their shoot.
“It was like jumping backwards. I had just finished working on Army of the Dead: Invasion in Las Vegas, which is a movie I’m making for Netflix, so I was totally in recording mode. I think the hardest part was just coordinating the whole cast and getting everyone together, that was the hardest part, the logistics ”.
The director also explained the decision to bring in Jared Leto’s Joker:
“I had a series of conversations with Jared about this Joker thing, and we just kept going back and forth, but in the end I think it was a good idea and it was the smart thing to to do.”
Previously, the film’s producer Deborah Snyder also revealed that Ben Affleck and Jared Leto, Batman and the Joker, respectively, recorded their scenes completely separate, due to conflicts in the agenda and production dealing with the new ones. health and safety protocols due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
