Willem Dafoe, the Green Goblin, was seen on the set of the film, according to the website

In December 2020, it was reported that Willem Dafoe would reprise his role as Norman Osborn in the upcoming Spider-Man film. Although the information has never been confirmed, now the GWW website is backing it up by stating that the actor was seen on the set of the feature film last Friday (5).

Dafoe played the villainous Green Goblin in the first Spider-Man trilogy, directed by Sam Raimi. The character was a nickname for Norman Osborn, father of Peter Parker’s best friend Harry.

The GWW website is the same one that first reported that Alfred Molina, Doctor Octopus, was on the set of the movie a few months ago, news which has been practically confirmed by larger sites over late.

The Green Goblin could return in the next Spider-Man movie

Jamie Foxx, who played the villainous Electro in Spectacular Spider-Man 2, is also involved in the film, which pretty much corroborates that the Spider-Man multiverse will be seen in theaters.

At the last Disney event, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said Spider’s third adventure will tie in directly to WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

In a recent interview, production star Tom Holland said Spider-Man 3 will be one of the most ambitious superhero movies ever made. He even raised the possibility of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s returns.

So what are your expectations for the next Spider-Man? The feature film opens December 16!
