Another Marvel Studios hit!
Marvel Studios’ first adventure in the television universe, WandaVision, won its first reviews, and with them the critical approval rating was posted on the Rotten Tomatoes website.
To date, 85 texts have been added to the aggregator, 80 of which are complimentary reviews of the first three episodes of the Disney + series. Thus, WandaVision has 94% approval. The number is staggering and seems to suggest that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has everything to be another successful era for the franchise.
Below you can see some fragments of reviews:
“WandaWision is so eerily different from what we’ve come to expect from Marvel, that it can serve as a gateway for people who have firmly resisted the superhero genre so far,” says critic Original Sin.
“It seems both very experimental and out of date with a great concept. But one thing is certain: after seeing three episodes available for analysis, it will take more to find out what WandaVision really is. “
“It’s a daring series and very different from what we’ve seen previously in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And just like Thor: Ragnarok, it feels like it’s something this universe needed.
“WandaVision shows that Marvel still has the power to surprise us and proves that we can expect big and weird things from Phase 4.”
“No matter how much people say WandaVision is unlike anything the company has done before, for better or for worse, it’s still the same.”
“A love letter to sitcoms and the perfect series to bring us back to the MCU, WandaVision is Marvel’s most exciting project, with a must-see Emmy-worthy performance for Elizabeth Olsen.”
“It’s a great TV show in its own right. But for those who enjoy these stories but still want them to go further, WandaVision is a true triumph.
The only criticism:
“I appreciate the Truman Show style of everything, but the jury is still out on whether this bet will work or get tiring.”
Flick Fan Nation:
“The MCU is thinking outside the box here, and Olsen is on another level. WandaVision is as creative, exciting and innovative as expected. “
Daily Telegraph UK:
“As a pastiche in love with American comedy shows, WandaVision is captivating. And Olsen and Bettany are clearly having fun in their retro costumes and their parents’ sweaters. But it’s the growing fear surrounding the show’s atmosphere that will keep Marvel fans coming back for more episodes. “

WandaVision mixes the style of classic American sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and accompanies Wanda Maximoff and Vision, two superheroes leading the perfect suburban life, starting to suspect that all is not what it seems.
The series will debut Disney + this Friday, January 15.
