Tom Holland movie postponed, gets new release date

The film adaptation of Uncharted has just been postponed until 2022. Sony has announced that the film starring Tom Holland has been moved to February 11 of next year, according to Deadline.

Uncharted, scheduled to open on July 16, 2021, is just one of many titles that have been postponed in recent days. Features like Morbius and 007: No Time to Die have had their dates recently moved, as well as the new version of Cinderella and Ghostbusters: Beyond, which have been postponed to July 16 and November 11 respectively.

New ‘Ghostbusters’ starring Paul Rudd was one of the postponed films

Fans of franchises like Fast and Furious and Marvel’s Cinematic Universe are awaiting information on the launch of the brand’s new films, particularly Black Widow, the postponement of which would result in changes throughout the Marvel timeline.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still ongoing, the cinema market remains one of the most affected in the world.
