The Winx saga is renewed by Netflix for the second season

Although it shared the Internet, Fate: The Winx Saga was a hit for Netflix. Therefore, as it could not be otherwise, Deadline indicates that the streaming platform has just renewed the series for a second season.

Filming for the second season will begin later this year. Netflix promises that the news from the cast will be released soon.

Brian Young, showrunner and producer of the series, spoke about the renewal:

“The six episodes of the first season have only scratched the surface of this incredibly rich world and the mighty fairies that inhabit it. As Bloom’s story continues to evolve, I can’t wait for you to learn more about Aisha, Stella, Terra, and Musa. And you never know who might appear in Alfea in the future.

Iginio Straffi, the creator of Winx spoke about the renovation:

“Winx connects with the audience in a live adaptation like he did in animation. Over the years we have watched Winx grow and become a worldwide phenomenon with millions of fans who have faithfully followed the series. ”

Brian Young, Judy Counihan and Kris Thykier produce the series with Iginio Straffi, the creator of the original design. The cast of Fate: The Winx Saga features Abigail Cowen as Fairy Bloom (Sabrina’s Dark World), Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella (The Fugitives, Frankenstein), Precious Mustapha as Aisha (Endeavor), Eliot Salt as Earth (Gameface), Elisha Applebaum as Muse (Undercover Hooligan, No Reasons), Sadie Soverall as Beatrix (Rose plays Julie), Freddie Thorp as Riven (Witch’s Discovery, Safe, No Limit), Danny Griffin as Sky (So Awkward, The Gentlemen), Theo Graham as Dane (Clink, Hollyoaks, Brief Encounters) and Jacob Dudman as Sam (The Stranger, Medici, The A List).
