The final episode has two post-credits scenes

Warning: Spoiler Alert!

The ninth and final episode of Wandavision, titled “The Grand Finale,” aired on Disney + today and, in addition to several incredible fights and thrilling moments, it also brought two post-credit scenes that set the stage for the land for what we can expect. of the Scarlet Witch and Monica Rambeau in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Below both scenes will be explained and detailed, so if you haven’t seen the episode yet, it’s best to only come back after you’ve completed the series.

Captain Marvel 2

Monica Rambeau receives a new mission.

The first post-credit scene has something to do with Captain Marvel 2. It features Monica Rambeau with Jimmy Woo after Westview is “freed” from Wanda’s control. She is called by an agent and walks away from the crowd, the agent then revealing that she is a skull and that a “friend of her mother” needs help in space.

The character mentioned is likely Captain Marvel or Nick Fury, who – as we saw in the post-credits scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home – is in space with the Skrulls.

As already confirmed we will see Monica, played by Teyonah Parris, in Captain Marvel 2, however, at the moment we know very little about the film and what its plot will be. In addition to Brie Larson as the titular heroine, Teyonah will also join Iman Vellani, who will play Ms. Marvel in the Disney + series.

Captain Marvel 2 is set to hit theaters on November 11, 2022.

Wanda looking for her children?

Scarlet Witch studies from Darkhold.

In the last episode, we saw that if Wanda destroys the reality he created in Westview, Visão and his children, Tommy and Billy, will also cease to exist. That way, when she breaks the spell at the end of the episode and says goodnight to the kids, she imagines it’s the last time she’ll see them.

However, the second post-credits scene already shows her as the Scarlet Witch in a remote location, using a spell to “deceive” any curious person who pursues her there, and searching for Darkhold, a powerful book of arcane magic from Marvel. Universe. As she flips through the book, she can hear her two children calling for help.

It’s still unclear if this will be the plot that will be given to the character of Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, the second Supreme Magician film that will also bring Elizabeth Olsen as a co-protagonist, reprising the role of Wanda Maximoff. In the comics, the two Young Avengers are closely related to Mephisto as a child, having been created from pieces of the villain’s soul. With rumors that he could be the villain of the film, it would make sense for Wanda to join Doctor Strange.
