Teaser Shows First Images Of Netflix’s Heroic New Series

Soon we’ll have another superhero series coming up, this time with Jupiter’s Legacy, the Netflix adaptation of Mark Millar’s lauded comics. After a teaser announcing the date, the first images of the project have just been released.

In the preview, we see Frank Quitely’s character art come to life, leaving sketches and paintings to become the photos of what we’ll see in the series.

The video features Blackstar, the season’s biggest villain, Hutch (Ian Quinlan), descendant of one of the world’s greatest supervillains, and Chloe Sampson (Elena Kampouris), daughter of the greatest heroes. Then we meet Sheldon Sampson (Josh Duhamel) and his son Brandon Sampson (Andrew Horton). Closing the preview we see the first generation of heroes in this universe: Lady Liberty, codenamed Grace Sampson (Leslie Bibb), The Utopian, heroic counterpart of Sheldon, and Brainwave, heroes whose secret identity is Walter Sampson. The official synopsis for the series says:

After nearly a century of protecting humanity, the world’s first generation of superheroes must trust their children to carry on the legacy. But tensions escalate as young superheroes, eager to prove themselves, struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputation – and demand demanding personal standards.
