“Justice Society: World War II shows Barry Allen – before the formation of the Justice League – discovering that he can run faster than he imagined, which earned him his first encounter with the Speed Force. Flash is quickly launched right in the middle of a major battle – mostly between the Nazis and a team of DC’s Golden Age superheroes known as the Justice Society of America. Led by Wonder Woman, the group includes Man-Hour, Black Canary, Black Hawk, Steve Trevor, and Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick. Flash quickly volunteers to help his fellow War Heroes, while the team tries to figure out how to send him home. But it won’t be easy, as the complications and emotions run deep in this time travel thriller set during World War II.
Created by Sheldon Mayer and Gardner Fox in 1941, Justice Society has appeared in several live and animated DC series such as Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Stargirl. They will also be of great importance in Black Adam, who will play Dwayne Johnson.
Justice Society: World War II doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s coming in 2021.
