The Justice Society is finally over!
After a long wait, Black Adam’s Justice Society was finally over. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pierce Brosnan, the Eternal 007, will be the mighty Lord Doom in the film.
Brosnan joins Noah Centineo (Atom Crush), Aldis Hodge (Gavião Negro), and Quintessa Swindell (Cyclone), completing the version of Justice Society we’ll see in the film. The heroes must team up with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam to take on Marwan Kenzari who would be the villainous Sabbac.
Kent Nelson, better known as Mister Doom, is one of DC Comics’ most powerful heroes. The character learned to use magic and received the Helm of Fate, becoming a mysterious and complex figure with even more power. In the comics, the character first appeared in 1940, in More Fun Comics # 5, created by Gardner Fox and Howard Sherman.
In addition to being known for the 007 film franchise, Pierce Brosnan has also starred in the films Mamma Mia !, The Strange and Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
Filming for Black Adam is slated to begin in less than three weeks. Jaume Collet-Serra will direct the feature film, whose screenplay is written by Adam Sztykiel. Production will be in charge of Beau Flynn, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia. The film does not yet have a release date.
