The actor said he can’t wait to act alongside her.
WandaVision is approaching its grand finale, but fans continue to theorize and analyze every detail of the series. One of the most popular theories on the internet was based on an interview with Paul Bettany, the interpreter of Vision, who commented on a cameo of someone he loved very much. Now, after much speculation, Bettany has finally revealed who that person is: Himself.
A few weeks ago, during an interview with Black Girl Nerds, Bettany said:
“There are a lot of things I can’t tell you about, [mas] I will be working with an actor who will be a surprise to everyone. I am going to work with an actor with whom I have always waited to play, it’s incredible. We had a lot of fun together.
Now, while attending GMA, Betanny has apologized for her joke:
“Do you know when you think something is going to be fun and then you say?” And then you panic about it? Because that’s what I did. Fans started trying to guess who it was and they were thinking of Benedict Cumberbatch [Doutor Estranho] or Patrick Stewart [Professor Xavier dos filmes da Fox]. And I was like, “My God, what an amazing idea!” They will be so disappointed to find that [a participação especial] it was me!”
If you still don’t get the joke, in last week’s episode we found out about the existence of White Vision in the MCU. Created by SWORD, the character must find himself in a big conflict with the vision that is inside the hexagon. Thus, we will see Visão and Visão Branco, both played by Paul Bettany, acting together.
Is he telling the truth and it was just a joke, or are we going to have another surprise tomorrow?
WandaVision is available on Disney +. The next and final episode of the series will air this Friday, March 5. In this chapter, we expect to see the final conflict between Wanda Maximoff and Agatha Harkness, as well as White Vision’s entry into the battlefield.
