Chris “Huggy Bear” Barnett will square off against heavy hitter Myung Hyun-Man in an openweight bout at ROAD FC 38.

The bout rounds out the main card, which will be headlined by a bantamweight title scrap between #1 ranked phenom Kim Soo-Chul and #2 ranked prospect Kim Min-Woo.

Myung (3-3) will be looking turn around a recent loss to Mirko “Cro Crop” Filipovic at RIZIN 2 in September last year. The heavyweight Muay Thai standout with over 30 wins, transitioned to MMA in 2013.

Chris “Huggy Bear” Barnett (15-3) is one of the toughest men to hit the Asian MMA scene in the last three years.

In his US career he knocked out Kenny Garner and Travis Wiuff amongst others his 90% knockout finish stats. Barnett’s only losses were to Eric Prindle, Oli Thompson, and a contentious split to Kirill Sidelnikov in RIZIN. Barnett is going to show Korea what a Taekwondo background can accomplish for a heavyweight fighter.

Also on the ROAD FC 38 card is Kuwabara Kiyoshi and Kim Dae-Sung, both riding impressive victories into their middleweight match.
