THE FILIPINO WRECKING MACHINE SAYS WIN OR LOSE, MANILA WILL BE HIS LAST FIGHT.
Mark Munoz is heading to Manila on Saturday 16 May to take on Luke Barnatt in a middleweight clash to be featured on the UFC Fight Night card.
The fight will be the last for Munoz, arguably the UFC’s most well-known Filipino fighter, who announced at a press conference that he will hang up his gloves.
Munoz has lost all three of his previous bouts, the most recent at UFC 184 on in Los Angeles, where Roan Carneiro secured a rear-naked choke in just 1:40 in the first round.
Also announced for UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs Faber is a bantamweight match pitting Royston Wee against Ning Guangyou. The co-main event sees Gegard Mousasi meet Costas Philippou.
UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. Faber takes place at Mall of Asia Arena on 16 May and will air live on FOX Sports 1.
