Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA) touched down in Johor over the weekend for the first of a five city tour across Malaysia to unearth the country’s next wave of MMA talent.

Mixed martial arts practitioners will be able to showcase their skills at City Square in Johor Bahru tomorrow.

Backed by prepaid mobile provider Tune Talk, tryouts will also take place in Sabah, Sarawak, Penang and Selangor.

The new season also sees the introduction of two additional categories including a female catchweight division (48kg to 56.7kg) and a Foreign Pride catchweight division (61.2kg to 70.3kg).

Following the highly successful run last year, MIMMA has established itself as the best amateur mixed martial arts fighting championship in Asia if not the world.
