EVOLVE MIXED MARTIAL ARTS HAS OPENED ITS FOURTH ACADEMY IN SINGAPORE, BRINGING THE NUMBER OF CLASSES TO MORE THAN 500 PER WEEK.
Widely regarded as one of Asia’s top martial arts organizations, Evolve MMA counts decorated ONE FC and UFC champs among its trainers.
The new facility joins Evolve MMA’s growing stable of academies that includes Evolve Far East Square, Evolve PoMo Mall and Evolve University, the world’s largest online university for martial arts.
Evolve Orchard Central will continue to offer muay thai, boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, plus its strength and conditioning training program WarriorFit and the Evolve Little Samurai children’s program.
“With the addition of Evolve Orchard Central, our academies’ combined schedules will now have over 500 classes per week, easily the most in Asia, led by our World Champion instructors,” Chatri Sityodtong, founder of Evolve MMA, said.
“There is no excuse for not training. We believe that anyone and everyone can become the best versions of themselves.”
Evolve MMA first opened its doors in January 2009 and has since carved a niche in Singapore’s intensely competitive health and fitness industry.
In addition to its stable to gyms, Evolve MMA is home to the most number of champions of any martial arts organisation around the world.
The Evolve Fight Team includes ONE FC champs Ben Askren and Shinya Aoki, UFC fighters Tarec Saffiedine, Rafael dos Anjos and Leandro Issa, along with rising ONE FC star Eddie Ng, WBA Boxing World Champion Yodsanan Sityodtong and BJJ World Champion Leandro Ataides.
Evolve’s latest recruit is Mark Striegl, a Filipino-American MMA star who has fought with Asian promoters from the now defunct Legend FC, PXC and more recently Malaysian Invasion MMA, where he secured a win against Kaiwhare Kara-France via rear-naked choke.
