Eddie Ng will return to the ONE Championship cage next month when the promotion makes its Macau debut at The Venetian’s Cotai Arena.

The 155-pound division prospect has not fought since May last year where he suffered a loss to Ariel Sexton at ONE FC Warrior’s Quest in Singapore.

It was the Hong Kong native’s second straight loss, after a defeat against Vincent Latoel in Singapore in 2014.

In Macau, Ng will face former featherweight world champion, Team Lakay’s Honorio “The Rock” Banario, long considered one of the Philippines’ most respected mixed martial arts veterans.

His vast cage experience has brought him all over Asia, encompassing several memorable battles against top divisional talent. Among his many talents, wushu expert Banario’s strength lies in his striking, but he has recently improved on his grappling as well. He is now ready to showcase his growing skills against Eddie Ng.

The 30-year-old Ng has been with the promotion since its first event in 2011, notching up five back-to-back wins against the likes of Peter Davis, Arnaud Lepont and Jian Kai Chee.

ONE: Heroes of the World will be ONE’s inaugural Macau show and will take place on 13 August.

The main event will be an interim flyweight title bout between Adriano Moraes and Andrew Leone.

Also on the card, Adrian “The Hunter” Pang will take on top Filipino lightweight Eduard Folayang, while unbeaten and fast-rising Christian Lee will take on Martin Nguyen.
