BRACE MMA has signed a deal with ONE Fighting Championship to join its growing network across the region.

BRACE, which has been running since 2009, is the only MMA competition in Australia to have events in four states and seven cities.

“We have helped develop the careers of many Australian Fighters, unearthed new talent and introduced Australians to fighters from across the country,” said Kya Pate, CEO of BRACE Sports Entertainment.

“We have pioneered with an all female fight show when it said it could not be done, and now with BRACE signing to the ONE FC Network, we can provide our exclusive BRACE fighters, international opportunities throughout the globe.

Pate said the ONE FC network is growing at a rapid pace and to be able to offer BRACE fighters a whole new world of opportunities is personally satisfying.

“The ONE FC organisation is simply amazing and I am personally happy to be working with ONE FC CEO Victor Cui to further grow Australasian talent for a global stage.”

The addition of BRACE MMA into the ONE FC Network is a boon for both sides.

Fighters who compete in BRACE will now have a chance to compete on a huge global stage such as ONE Fighting Championship.

Not only that, they will be able to compete in ONE FC Network affiliates such as ROAD FC and the URCC.

For ONE FC, the addition of the Australian based promotion into its network will enable it to tap into a talent rich roster of some of the best Australian fighters today.

BRACE will hold its 20th event in Brisbane on the 25th of May 2013.
