The first images of the series have also been released!
At the end of last year, Netflix released a teaser for Shadow and Bones, a series based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse universe. Now, the adaptation of the books has received posters of their characters, in addition to the first images of the production having been released, along with their release date.
On the posters, the characters can be seen up close, showcasing their costumes and the weapons they use (CBR). You can see them best in the production footage released by What’s On Netflix, which features Jessie Mei Li as protagonist Alina Starkov, Ben Barnes as General Kirigan, also known as Darkling, Archie Renaux as Malyen Oretsev, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, Amita Suman as Inej Ghafa, Calahan Skogman as Matthias Helvar and Danielle Galligan as Nina Zenik.
In addition to the Grisha trilogy, the series will adapt the Ketterdam duology. Check out the synopsis below:

Other confirmed cast names are Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Sujaya Dasgupta as Zoya Nazyalensky, Daisy Head as Genya Safin, Simon Sears as Ivan, Zoë Wanamaker as Baghra, Kevin Eldon as Apparat, Julian Kostov as Fedyor, Luke Pasqualino in David’s role, Jasmine Blackborow as Marie and Gabrielle Brooks as Nadia.
Shadow and Bones will arrive on Netflix on April 23 of this year.
