The premiere of the film is near!
2021 has started off very well for DC fans and the work of director Zack Snyder, who is preparing to release the Justice League of Zack Snyder, the much-vaunted version of the film’s director. After confirming the film’s arrival date on HBO Max, we now have a new official synopsis released (via ComicBook), which mentions none other than Darkseid and his lackey Desaad.
Just mentioned in the version that hit theaters in 2017, Darkseid will appear in the film, having previously appeared in Zack Snyder’s Justice League trailers as the new god Uxas. Desaad also appeared quickly in one of the premieres, and must be next to his master in the film.
Check out the new synopsis below:
“In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to make sure that Superman’s (Henry Cavill) death is not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) joins forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), with the intention of recruit a meta-team. Land of imminent threat of catastrophic proportions. The task turns out to be more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each recruit must face demons from their own past to transcend what was holding them back and allow them to unite, ultimately forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Flash (Ezra Miller) may have arrived too late to save the planet Steppe Wolf, Desaad, Darkseid and his evil intentions. “
While the synopsis isn’t necessarily full of news, the addition of Darkseid and Desaad to the rundown sets an interesting precedent, which may mean they’ll have a bigger part of the story than fans expected. It will be? Leave your comments!
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is coming to HBO Max on March 18.
