New anime episode brings Kawaki’s first fight

Whoever accompanies Boruto: Naruto Next Generations knows that the siege is starting to tighten in the life of the son of the Seventh Hokage. While the manga already offers explosive answers and conflict, the anime continues to feature characters who will be very important in the great war to come. An example of this is Kawaki, which has just been introduced to the series and is already showing its full potential.

Following the hook from the previous episode, the 189th chapter of the anime shows us Kawaki’s first fight in the anime, facing Garo, an outside member of Kara. The two engage in a powerful battle, as Kawaki begins to reveal some of the skills he has learned through the Karma brand.

Check out the fight below:

Here we can see that Kawaki has mastered a very impressive Karma technique: he manages to replace parts of his own body with more resilient machines, blades and parts, becoming a very deadly weapon in clashes. The proof is that he manages to block most of Garo’s attacks, while proving all his agility and attack strength.

Anyone who follows the manga knows that Kawaki will be of great importance in Boruto Uzumaki’s story.

Plus, the anime always shows us how much Kawaki’s abilities have to do with what’s going on inside Boruto Uzumaki’s body. Those who have followed the manga the longest know that the two become central pieces throughout the arc involving Kara and the Otsutsuki. There’s still a long way to go and plenty of revealing going on, but anime fans already get a taste of all the twists to come.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations can be watched in full via the Crunchyroll.
