The film takes shape!
Michelle Rodriguez and Judge Smith joined Chris Pine to adapt Dungeons & Dragons for theaters. The film, which promises to have a significant budget, will be produced by Paramount in partnership with eOne (via THR).
Rodriguez is best known for her work on the Fast & Furious movie franchise, while Smith starred in Detective Pikachu in 2019. It has not been confirmed what role the two will play in the film.
Based on the popular fantasy RPG, the film will be directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the duo responsible for the hit comedy Game Night.
As of yet, nothing has been said about the plot of Dungeons & Dragons, but we can expect plenty of wars, treasure hunts, elves, orcs and hundreds of other creatures. .
