The bad guy is coming!
MODOK, Marvel’s next adult animation, is co-created by Jordan Blum and Patton Oswald. The series follows the adaptation of the comic book villain who tries, at all costs, to overcome bureaucracy and all the challenges of civilian life. To make matters even more difficult, villainous Austin Van Der Sleet decided to make the big guy’s life even more difficult. Now, after a long wait, a preview has been released.
In the preview, we see MODOK in a day of fury, finding out that it is going bankrupt and trying to explain what its name means. The animation draws attention to the styling, which is quite different from what we’re used to in a Marvel production, but matches the show’s humor proposition.

With 10 episodes, the MODOK series opens on May 21.
