With the aim of launching new animated series and exploring the rich mythology of this universe, the studio is led by Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the creators of the original story, reporting directly to Ramsey Naito, the president of Nickelodeon Animation. .

Along with news of the franchise’s return, it was revealed that an animated film is already in development, with production set to begin later this year.

Avatar Studios will produce content for Paramount + and Nickelodeon, as well as other platforms interested in the projects. Going to the cinema is also in the planning of the company.

Will we see more Avatar Korra?

It’s important to remember that this doesn’t negate the live-action series currently in development by Netflix, which Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko were a part of until they left the project due to creative differences with the streaming platform.

Details on the new animations and the animated film from Avatar Studios have yet to be released.

What will we see in the new productions? Will we finally have Avatar Kyoshi gain in importance? I’m just waiting to know.
