The Amazon spin-off has gained new details!
The spinoff series of The Boys has just acquired new details, including the casting of two young actresses in the cast, Jaz Sinclair and Lizze Broadway.
The characters Marie, played by Sinclair, and Emma, played by Boradway, are only described as “young superheroines”. In the plot we will follow their misfortunes, taking place in the only university exclusively reserved for young superheroes.
According to Variety, the program will have all the satirical content of the original series while exploring the lives of these heroes competing for the best contracts in the best cities across the country.
Lizze Broadway’s previous credits include the Here and Now series and Bones. Jaz Sinclair, for his part, has in his curriculum the film Paper Cities and the series The Dark World of Sabrina.
Like The Boys, the spin-off will be produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios. Craig Rosenberg will be the showrunner while the boys creator Eric Kripke will be the executive producer.
The Boys is one of the biggest streaming hits of recent years. The first two seasons of the series are available on Prime Video, Amazon’s service. Currently, the third season is being filmed.
As of yet, the Boys spin-off has no set release date.
