James Gunn’s official movie synopsis revealed

A highly anticipated release by DC fans, The Suicide Squad directed by James Gunn is getting closer and closer to its scheduled debut date this year. Now the film has received an official synopsis, which states that Task Force X will be on a search and destroy mission, and to complete it, the team will travel to Corto Maltese.

In addition to the new information, the synopsis highlights the squadron’s situation, drawing attention to the fact that it’s every criminal who wants freedom and doesn’t seem to have much team spirit. No one will be safe in the plot, a fact that James Gunn himself had previously suggested by stating that audiences shouldn’t be attached to anyone.

From writer / director James Gunn comes the action-adventure superhero film Warner Bros. Photos, “The Suicide Squad,” highlighting a collection of DC’s most degenerate criminals.

Welcome to Hell – also known as Belle Reve, the prison with the highest death rate in the United States of America. Where are the worst super villains kept and where will they do anything to get out of them – even join super-secret and super-dubious Task Force X. Today’s do-or-die mission? Collect a collection of criminals including Bloodthirsty, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Rat Hunter 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Dart, and everyone’s favorite psychopath, Harlequin. So leave them heavily armed and throw them (literally) on the remote and crowded island of Corto Maltese.

Traversing a jungle filled with military adversaries and guerrilla forces, the squadron’s mission is to seek and destroy with only Colonel Rick Flag on the ground to make them behave … and government technology from Amanda Waller. in their ears, following your every move. And as always, one misstep and they are dead (either at the hands of their enemies, teammates, or Waller herself). If someone places bets, the smart thing is to put your money against them – all of them.

The film will bring the return of Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Margot Robbie as Harlequin and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. Additionally, The Suicide Squad will feature David Dastmalchian as Polka Dot Man, Steve Agee as King Shark, Daniela Melchior the Rat Hunt II, Idris Elba as Sanguinarian, John Cena as Peacemaker, Nathan Fillion as TDK, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Flula Borg as Dart, Mayling Ng as Mongal, Peter Capaldi as The Thinker, Michael Rooker as Savant, Alice Braga as Sol Soria and Sean Gunn as Weasel.

Suicide Squad opens August 6 this year, in theaters and on HBO Max.
