Hugh Grant and Sophia Lillis join the cast of the film

The production of Dungeons & Dragons continues with everything and now we have two other actors joining the cast of the project: Hugh Grant, cast to live the villain of the film, and Sophia Lillis, actress known for her role in IT: The Thing.

Details on the film are still being kept under wraps, but according to Deadline’s sources, Grant will be the primary antagonist on the project. Who (or what) he will be has not been disclosed. No information has been given on who Lillis may play.

Grant is known for Bridget Jones’ Diary, A Place Called Notting Hill, Lyrics and Music, and countless other classics from the 1990s and 2000s. He was most recently seen alongside Nicole Kidman in The Undoing.

In addition to IT: The Thing, Lillis is known for the film Maria and João: The Witches’ Tale, Sharp Objects and I’m Not Okay With This. Recently, she had her performance praised by Uncle Frank, a movie starring Paul Bettany (MCU Vision).

Lillis and Grant join the cast which already includes Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Judge Smith and Rege-Jean Page. The script for Dungeons & Dragons is signed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who will also be the directors of the project. Jeremy Latchan is producing the film with Brian Goldner, both representing Hasbro, the company that owns the rights to the game.
