God of War art director imagines series character as Mephisto

Warning: spoiler alert!

Ever since Evan Peters appeared on WandaVision as Pietro Maximoff, the internet has been replete with theories that Fox’s Mercury could, in fact, be the dangerous Mephisto. As fans debate the idea, Raf Grassetti, the artistic director of God of War, decided to imagine what the actor would look like as a villain.

On his Instagram, Grassetti praised the series. He said:

WandaVision is the best surprise of the year so far. I love the show and can’t wait to see where it takes us. Here is my quick version of Mephisto, I had a lot of fun, hope we see more in the future.

The art shows Peters with reddish hair, a pale face, and dark markings around the eyes. Sitting on his throne, the Marvel Devil appears with his gnarled armor, resembling human muscles, in a bright red tone. Grassetti’s unmistakable style makes his art resemble a sculpture, giving the villain an even more interesting look. Check:

Here at LH, we’ve already speculated that Mephisto could become Agnes’ bunny, and he could be the big antagonist for the new phase of the MCU. What are your theories?
