WarnerMedia will expand programming for children!
WarnerMedia Kids & Family, a division of the children’s entertainment giant, has announced (via ComicBook) that it will expand its dedicated programming for children and families, creating several new series, spinoffs and films of various intellectual properties. Among them, The Incredible World of Gumball, which will have a movie, and a new spinoff series of Teen Titans GO !, A more childish version of the famous DC heroes.
New content will be released via Cartoon Network and HBO Max in 2021, including a reboot of Tiny Toons and a new series from Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky. Tom Ascheim, President of Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics, said in a press release:
“After 100 years of building some of the world’s most famous intellectual properties, today we will begin our new history, with corporate unity and a modern approach, to be the industry leaders that our heritage deserved.”
