The history of games is directly linked to the creation of Blizzard Entertainment as we know it today, being the result of the hard work of a group of software developers who, 30 years ago, came together to found a studio. games. Now, the Blizzard Arcade Collection will feature updated classic games for PC and consoles.
The collection will include the Original Edition and the Definitive Edition, which contain improvements for each game, including the ability to save game progress whenever the player wants. Bonus material with arts, discontinued content, interviews, and other extras will also be available.

In The Lost Vikings, we meet Erik the Fast, Olaf the Hardy, and Baelog the Fierce. Each of the brave Vikings must brave their brains to solve hundreds of challenges, defeat enemies, and venture on a treacherous expedition home. With support for up to three players in local co-op, the Definitive Edition of the game contains a big improvement on some aspects of the original versions, as well as additional scenes and levels.
Rock N Roll Racing, as the name suggests, is a unique racing game. With tracks full of traps and plenty of rock on the soundtrack, players are placed behind the wheel of an insane demolition racing experience, getting to choose drivers with unique talents and customizable cars. The Definitive Edition adds effects to the surroundings, such as snow and rain, and allows up to four people to compete in local multiplayer, with 384 track variations.
Blackthorne, meanwhile, presents the story of Kyle “Blackthorne” Vlaros, a former military man equipped with brute force and cunning, a mysterious past and a very powerful shotgun. Players must venture on this journey, exploring the futuristic alien world filled with mutant monsters and hordes of goblins. The Definitive Edition includes a new area to explore, in addition to a map that reveals itself as the player completes each level.
The Windows PC version of the Blizzard Arcade Collection is currently available exclusively on Battle.net, as part of The Commemorative Collection (separate purchase not available). On consoles, the Blizzard Arcade Collection is available on Nintendo eShop, PlayStationStore, and Xbox Store as part of the Blizzard 30th Anniversary Collection.
