Netflix’s new thriller Woman in the Window won a heart-wrenching trailer starring Amy Adams (Justice League). The film will follow the story of an agorophobic woman who witnessed a crime while confined to her home.
The production is directed by Joe Wright (Pride and Prejudice) and written by Tracy Letts (Killer Joe) based on the book by American author AJ Finn. Watch the captioned trailer in the player below:
The Woman in the Window was originally scheduled to hit theaters in 2019, but was postponed until the following year due to producers’ dissatisfaction with the film’s final outcome. After a new reissue, the film was slated for release in 2020 when its theatrical release was canceled in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, finally, the film is ready to hit audiences after being acquired by streaming giant Netflix. In addition to Amy Adams, the film features other stars including Gary Oldman (Dark Knight), Julianne Moore (The Hunger Games: Hope) and Hawk and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie and Wyatt Russel.
