Amazon-spinoff series finds trio of protagonists

The boys’ popularity exploded with the second season, guaranteeing an Amazon Prime spinoff series. Still without a defined title, the cast of the spin-off has just grown with the disclosure of its protagonists.

The “Young Seven”

According to the Deadline portal, actors Shane Paul McGhie (Greenleaf), Aimee Carrero (She-ra and the Princesses of Power) and Maddie Phillips (Bounty Hunters) have been confirmed to play the lead roles. We don’t have any details on your characters yet.

The trio join actresses Jaz Sinclair and Lizze Broadway as future superheroes of Vought International, living their college life to the extreme in a college dedicated to training superpowers.

Mutant inspiration

Obviously, since everything is sponsored by Vought, the intention is not the best, so expect an extremely competitive scenario where young people full of hormones challenge their moral, physical and sexual limits.

Rest assured that the series is in good hands: the idea is being developed by Craig Rosenberg, executive producer of The Boys, who promises to use the format of a young college series, with doses of The Hunger Games, to bring the satirical experiment of The Boys to a new audience.

It has already been confirmed that the spin-off is inspired by the X-Men, or at least in its equivalent version of The Boys universe – the G-Men. Is there a good thing to come? Be sure to comment!
