Full Metal Dojo returned to the spotlight last week with its 14th show titled “Bigger, Badder, Blacker, Madder”.
In true FMD style, FMD 14 kicked off in a rapid fire way, with the first ofseveral fight not making it past the second round. Making his pro- MMA debut, Ben Royle made fast work of Paul Windsor with a submission victory at 1:38 of R1. Akihiro Fujisawa defeated Chan Samart via TKO at 3:42 of R3.
In the main event American fighter Joe Ray scored an impressive first round TKO of his Brazilian opponent Marcelo Tenorio. Tenorio looked the bigger man by far and set out to attack with low kicks in the early exchange. Ray looked to counter with right hands and landed several, but his punches didn’t seem to be having the same effect that they did in the lower weight divisions.
Bangkok-based photographer Stev Bonhage was on hand for ROUGH to snap the best moments.
