Welterweight veteran Dong Hyun Kim and promotional newcomer Wang Guan have been lined up for the UFC’s return to Singapore in June.

Kim and Wang join a growing list of big names for UFC Fight Night Singapore, including former lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos and former heavyweight champion Andrei Arloveski.

Riding a three-fight win streak, South Korea’s Dong Hyun Kim is set to square off against wrestler Colby “Chaos” Covington, who himself is holding a three-fight win streak, most recently against Bryan Barberena UFC on Fox 22.

“Chaos” Covington holds a decorated wrestling pedigree and fights out of the acclaimed American Top Team. A win over no. 7 ranked Kim would be an important step toward his UFC rankings and a shot at UFC gold.

After signing top Chinese featherweight Wang Guan in February this year, UFC has pulled together a fascinating match up for his promotional debut against Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres.

Wang is considered to be China’s most promising new MMA athletes, but will face an experienced Caceres. He recently fought a very exciting bout against Mexican star Yair “El Pantera” Rodrigues, a flashy back and forth affair that was awarded Fight of the Night honors.
