THIS WEEKEND’S BOUT WILL FEATURE A HUGE 15 FIGHTS.

Top FC 8: ‘Heart of a Champion’ is set for the Olympic Hall in Seoul this Saturday and there will be two titles on the line.

The winners of the semi finals in the four man 155 lbs tournament will go head to head in the headlining fight while there will be an inaugural bantamweight champion crowned in the co-main event.

At the top of the bill are lightweights Jung Min Kang (7-5-2) and Dong Hyun Kim (12-6-3) who will do battle for the organization’s inaugural 155 lbs strap. The former stopped Gyo Pyung Hwang with strikes in the semi final while the latter did the same to Toshikatsu Harada.

The co-main event will be for the organisation’s 135 lbs belt with Korean Top Team’s own Kwan Ho Kwak (6-0) taking on former teammate Han Bin Park (6-2). This will be a rematch of a fight which happened at Top FC 2 last year, Kwak won by TKO but Park has since claimed four straight victories.

In total there will be 15 fights at Top FC 8 with the undercard consisting of seven matchups which will feature some less experienced fighters. Another intriguing matchup on the main card sees two undefeated featherweights go head to head as Michael Ahn (2-0) takes on Kyung Soo Park (2-0).

There will also be a chance to see two of Korea’s top heavyweight in action when veteran Jun Soo Lim (7-8) faces newcomer Da Un Jung (1-0) while in the women’s 115 lbs division French debutant Naouel Bourbia is going up against Yoo Jin Jung.

Two of Top FC’s best featherweights will meet as Seung Hwa Han (6-3) faces Dong Gyu Kim (4-1) while the card also features a flyweight fight between Uzbekistan’s Farmon Gafurov (2-0) and Minsu Kwon (1-0) who made a successful debut on the organization’s most recent card.
