ONE: ‘Pride of Lions’ is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 13 November and three featherweight fights have been added to the card.

The promotion also confirmed that the event would be screened live on Fox Sports with the prelims to be streamed on Facebook.

The first fight of the night will see Li Kai Wen (3-2), who won the organisation’s one night 145 lbs tournament in Beijing last year, return to the cage. He takes on Hong Kong’s Nathan Ng (1-0) who lives and trains in California and holds a purple belt in BJJ.

Next up will be another featherweight contest pitting one of Singapore’s top prospects against an experienced Indonesian. Benedict Ang (1-0) only made his pro debut in May but is being thrown in with ten fight veteran Yohan Mulia Legowo (7-3).

The final fight to be announced today sees Martin Nguyen (4-1) make a quick return to the cage after being submitted by Marat Gafurov last month. The Australian was a last minute replacement for Naruntungalag Jadambaa and found himself fighting the undefeated Russian for the interim 145 lbs belt at very short notice.

That was the first loss of Nguyen’s career but he will be looking to bounce back with a win when he takes on Edward Kelly (6-2). The Filipino is coming off a first round submission win of his own which came at the expense of Jimmy Yabo in April.

Eddie Ng was expected to face Kamal Shalorus in a fight which has been on the agenda for well over a year but this matchup has still not been confirmed. Reports from the US suggest the former 155 lbs title challenger might have suffered an injury during training camp.

As previously announced the card will be headlined by a welterweight title bout between champion Ben Askren and challenger Luis Santos with Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke set to defend his 115 lbs title against Yago Bryan in the co-main event.
