ROAD FC CEO TELLS A PRESS CONFERENCE THERE IS IT POSSIBLE THE SOUTH KOREAN PROMOTION COULD SIGN FEDOR.

ROAD FC held a press conference at the ROAD FC Apgujeong Gym in Seoul, South Korea to open the domestic promotion’s first overseas event in Japan

In attendance were were ROAD FC CEO Jung Moon-Hong plus Main Card fighters from South Korea including Choi Hong-Man, Choi Mu-Bae, Yoon Dong-Sik, and Middleweight Championship Contender Jeon Uh-Jin.

Jung spoke at length about ROAD FC’s globalization strategy, and how South Korea’s rising MMA righters play a major part.

“Just as most countries have a professional soccer league, we’ve tried to make a native league for MMA in order to grow it and produce good fighters. I hope people will cheer and support us to make the second MMA boom.”

During the press conference, the topic of MMA hero Fedor Emelianenko’s recent announcement to return to MMA came up. Jung had the following to say.

“It’s possible we could sign Fedor.”

Jung went on to say suggest that Fedor, indeed, any other fighter in UFC would be better off in Asia.

“The UFC is not a dream league. Only 10 fighters will ever make one billion won (close to 1 million USD). This year in ROAD FC, more than 10 fighters will make a million (USD).”

ROAD will hold its 24th show in Japan next weekend, marketing its first bout outside its home town.
