ONE CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS TO CHINA THIS WEEKEND FOR THE SECOND INSTALLMENT OF ONE: DYNASTY OF CHAMPIONS.

Asia’s biggest MMA promoter ONE Championship will return to China this Saturday, with ONE: DYNASTY OF CHAMPIONS set to take place at the Guangzhou Tianhe Gymnasium.

The main event will see featherweights Timofey Nastyukhin and Yusuke Kawanago go head-to-head, while Marcos Santana and Ruel “The Wushu” Catalan of the Philippines will face off in a flyweight contest.

ROUGH will be reporting live from ONE: Dynasty of Champions, with full coverage right here.

Nastyukhin made his ONE FC debut last December with an impressive KO against Eduard Folayang at ONE: Warrior’s Way.

Kawanago, a Pancrase and Legend FC veteran will be hoping to return to winning form after suffering a first round loss to Rob Lisita at ONE: Rise of Heroes last May.

Evolve MMA fighter Zorobabel Moreira returns to the ONE cage against Englishman Christian Holley, who boasts an impressive record of 10 wins and one loss.

ONE Championship has also announced two tournament style battles will be held in the flyweight and featherweight division.

In the Chinese Flyweight Tournament, Wang Shuo battles Ba Ya La Ga while Wu Ze takes on Wu Hui Qiang. In addition, the Guangzhou Flyweight Tournament alternate bout will see Hu Ri Ge battle Zhao Xiao Tong.

In the Chinese Featherweight Tournament, Ma Jia Wen faces Biekemulati Nulijiao and Huang Di Yuan meets Tian Jian She. The Guangzhou Featherweight Tournament alternate bout will see the clash between Chinese fighters Wang Ya Yong and Li Yun Long.

Victor Cui, CEO of ONE Championship, described it as a fantastic fight card for Chinese fight fans.

“In the main event, we have two international stars squaring off as the hard-hitting Timofey Nastyukhin of Russia takes on Yusuke Kawanago of Japan. We also have a flyweight and a featherweight tournament in place to determine the best prospects to come out of the mainland. Get ready for an evening of world-class mixed martial arts.”
