Filipino-American Brandon Vera will defend his heavyweight title for the first time, when ONE Championship returns to Manila on 2 December.

The card, ONE: Age of Domination, will take place at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila where Vera (14-7) will meet unbeaten challenger Hideki Sekine (7-0) in the main event.

“Filipinos are some of the most passionate people in the world, and they really love their sports,” ONE Championship CEO Victor Cui stated.

“So we have prepared a stacked card featuring a solid group of local fighters mixed in with some of the best international talents on our roster. ONE heavyweight world champion Brandon Vera is set to return to the cage, and you all know that means be ready for an amazing night of action.”

The second show for Manila will feature many of the Philippine’s top MMA stars, including 28-year-old Mark Striegl, who is coming off a third round loss to Reece McLaren close to a year ago.

Striegl will make his return to the ONE cage against Rafael Nunes, a professional mixed martial artist with a 10-1 record and is one of the top lightweights to emerge from Brazil.

Also lined up is Geje Eustaquio vs Toni Tauru; Team Lakay’s Honorio Banario, who faces Rajinder Singh Meena and Edward Kelly, a brigh featherweight prospect who will face 31-year-old Sunoto “The Terminator” of Jakarta.

Other notable additions include atomweight standout April Osenio, also of Team Lakay, who will face unbeaten Taiwanese submission specialistJenny Huang.

Kicking off ONE: Age of Domination is a flyweight fight between Liu Peng Shuai and Sim Bunsrun, who are set to do battle in a three-round bout.

Liu is the Hefei Flyweight Tournament Champion, while the Cambodian Bunsrun is a winner of his last two fights including an impressive first-round submission in his promotional debut.
