THE FINAL SHOWS ARE LIKELY TO FEATURE A MIX OF AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL FIGHTS.

Thailand’s most prominent MMA promotion, Full Metal Dojo, will be back in Bangkok on 22 August while another event has been confirmed for 31 October.

FMD’s last show of the year is likely to be held on December 12th.

The first two FMD events took place in Phuket in 2014 but the organization has since shifted to the country’s capital where it has held three shows to date. All of them have taken place at the Live House Studio in Chatuchak Park.

The announcement was made via the Facebook page of FMD CEO Jon Nutt who hinted that, while the next two shows were likely to be in Bangkok, the final event of the year would be held in a different location.

The final three shows of the year are likely to feature a mixture of amateur and professional fights with Thai fighters like Pongsiri Mitsatit and Chamlong Chanream both likely to be on the August card.

Mitsatit (4-0) is a strawweight who only just turned 19 and has already appeared twice in the FMD cage. Chanream (1-0) is a few years older but scored an extremely impressive stoppage win against TUF veteran Allen Chong on his pro debut earlier this month.
